SC Key Server
Activate SonicCloud across your organization with a hosted service and no license server to run.
SC Key Server manages your SonicCloud licenses for you. There is no license server to deploy or maintain. Each installation activates once and receives its own SC Key. After that, SonicCloud works offline until the key expires.
What you get
- One place for your seats. SC Key Server tracks your purchased seats and who uses them.
- A key for each device. Every installation gets its own SC Key.
- Offline use. After activation, SonicCloud does not need a connection to SC Key Server.
Example: 100 licenses
An organization buys 100 licenses valid until 31 December 2027. After 78 installations activate, 78 seats are allocated and 22 are available.
At the limit
When all 100 seats are allocated, a new activation is declined until a seat is reassigned or released, or your license is expanded.
